Nestled in the most picturesque countryside setting, their property is nothing short of stunning, rolling green fields, beautifully landscaped gardens, and a tranquil lake right in the garden, reflecting the sky and surrounded by peaceful seating areas. It was the perfect spot for morning coffee or evening unwinding. Jill and Collin were the perfect hosts warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. Nothing was ever too much trouble. From the smallest thoughtful touches to their genuine hospitality, they made sure our stay was flawless from beginning to end. They struck the perfect balance between giving us privacy and being available whenever we needed anything. The retreat itself was immaculate and filled with high tech features that made the experience both luxurious and effortless. From modern lighting, sound systems and entertainment options, every detail had been carefully thought through for comfort and ease. Every corner of The Paddocks speaks to the care and pride Jill and Collin take in their home. Whether you’re enjoying the serene views of the lake, exploring the expansive grounds, soaking in the hot tub, or simply relaxing in the beautifully designed interiors, it’s the kind of place you never want to leave. WOW! What a find the Paddocks Retreat is. Where to start!! The accommodation is simply fantastic, fastidiously clean, exceptionally well equipped and a perfect environment to rest and relax especially with the private hot tub!! The community gardens at the front of the property simply brilliant including the bee hives. The bee hive experience was stunning and Colin delivered a perfectly aimed demonstration and presentation for those present (10) on bee keeping. I’d go back just for that!! The piece de resistance for me was the lake at the rear of the property with an abundance of birdlife, rabbits etc. In sum, stunning property that is faultless in every respect. I am very fussy but would highly recommend it to anyone, simply superb. Thank you sooooooo much to Jill and Colin for making our visit priceless !!

Lovely place to stay and hosts were friendly and super helpful. Slightly off putting that to get to your private hot tub area you have to walk past the owners front door but in fairness we didn't see much of them. Hot tub was hot but unfortunately the jets weren't very powerful. The owners are aware and told us a new one was already on order. A LOT of tech in the lodge too, great if you're staying for a week as you'd have time to get used to it however for a one or 2 night stay it's just too much trying to figure out the multiple lighting controls and the number of remote controls. The New Inn is an amazing pub with a really good vibe and the food there was amazing ???? all in all, a very nice stay with just a few niggles. We would absolutely look to book again once the new hot tub is in place.
