The cottage is lovely, the kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable, and the shower is fantastic. Hot tub was clean and warm too. There were a few niggles on arrival - no tea or coffee (there was sugar), no firewood, and no shower curtain - although this does demonstrate that it is washed between stays, which is definitely a positive. The boiler thermostat had developed a fault so it was very cold too. However, all of these issues were quickly resolved, which was great. Towards the end of our stay there was an issue with the valves on the gas bottles, and the boiler was a little temperamental, but again, resolved quickly. We did feel that the cottage would benefit from some larger glasses for long drinks, and a couple of the utensils could do with a refresh, but on the whole it's a nice place.
