Malthouse Farm, Heacham

Wonderful house for a family gathering, great position to explore the North Norfolk coast. The hot tub was the icing on the cake! We visited in December and it was walk and cosy and welcoming. Having a large enclosed garden was wonderful for our two labradors.

We had a lovely stay at Malthhouse Farm over the Christmas period. On arrival we were treated to some little gifts including Christmas cake and a bottle of fizz. The house was decorated with some lovely touches. It was a very homely feel with the aga adding to the heart of the home in the kitchen. Having multiple lounges made it suitable for our different generations. There were gorgeous fireplaces with a generous supply of wood which we appreciated and made use of. Katie the owner lives next door and was super helpful when we couldnt work the additional oven properly. Our fault not hers! The cherry on the cake was the gorgeous hot tub in the garden, what a luxury. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time.

I spent a fabulous weekend with a group of friends at Malthouse Farm. On arrival we was greeted by the owner, Katie who showed me round the property and explained the facilities provided. We were supplied with a lovely welcome pack and plenty of coal for the open fires. Would thoroughly recommend this property for family or friends gatherings.

We hired the farm for a long weekend for a family celebration and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. Katie met us at the start and end of our stay and was very welcoming and helpful. We appreciated the bread, milk and treats shed left for us, and the fleeces etc. provided for our dogs. We were all very comfortable and had a lovely stay. Wed definitely consider using it again for a similar gathering. Thanks, Katie.

Just home from at week at Malthouse Farm and would highly recommend this house. The house itself was as described, great size and very well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms a good size and comfortable beds, nice to have 2 bedrooms with ensuites. Two lounges, both seat 6 adults comfortably. We sat out around the fire pit one evening which was great. We loved the location, a couple of local pubs, but we particularly liked walking out to Hunstanton great bakery plus lots more.. and Old Hunstanton recommend lunch at The Lodge, it takes about an hour but an enjoyable walk along the seafront. Katie was an attentive host and easy to contact if you need anything.

We have just come home from our weekend stay at the Malthouse farm . We had an amazing family weekend and all fell in love with the house. The large kitchen was amazing and we spent a lot of time there. We had two children with us aged 7 and 4 and the house is very child friendly. They loved the hot tub and large garden . There are retractable stair guards and also a large gate to block off driveway so felt very safe . We were nine people in total and all found the bedrooms spacious and beds very comfortable . Katie messaged us the week before to introduce herself and was lovely when we met her . Communication with Katie was very easy . Katie met my daughter when they arrived and showered them around the property , and assured her if we needed anything to Just ask. Katie had left a few treats we greatly appreciated. We would definitely recommend the Malthouse and will be looking to return again for a family weekend. Thank you Katie for the treats and the use of your fabulous house .

We have just returned from a fantastic weekend at Malthouse Farm. Three generations of family and we could not fault it. Great location and base for exploring the North Norfolk Coast. The House is absolutely lovely, very spacious with comfy beds. The kitchen is the hub of the house perfect for family gatherings. The children loved the large garden and their favourite part I think was toasting marshmallows on the firepit. Katie and Kevin were the perfect hosts and a big thankyou to you both for the warm welcome and the lovely treats. We will definitely be back. The Lowery Family

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful and cottage. It is full of character and our 3 generations loved both the inside and outside space. The children loved exploring all the different levels and rooms inside the house and also the fact that they could run all the way round the outside of it. It is a great family garden and the hot tub made it even better. It was a great base for visiting different beaches, including the very local ones. It's a beautiful area and we will return to explore further! Katie is a fantastic host. The welcome pack was very generous and she also always responded immediately to any queries and was very happy to share her knowledge of the area. We would definitely return. Thanks Katie!

We had a great week at this lovely holiday home. It's spacious and beautifully furnished, with comfortable beds and a very well equipped kitchen. The garden is delightful and safe for little ones, and the hot tub is a bonus! The host, Katie, was helpful and very welcoming. The treats that were left for us were both thoughtful and generous. It's a lovely area with lots to do. Highly recommended!

Excellent property with great facilities, secluded garden with hot tub, comfortable beds. Katie was a very welcoming but unintrusive host. The scorching weather was the icing on the cake. A super base for exploring a new area of the UK we had not visited before.

Great cottage, we really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for 9 adults to enjoy time together. We were two families with grown up children and two dogs and it suited us perfectly. Walking distance to shops, pubs and beach etc.

Lovely place to stay clean, comfy beds, spacious in and outside. Very close to the shop and beach. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful from start to finish and we were well looked after by Katie the host. Treats on arrival for adults and children which was a lovely touch and even milk and bread supplied. The little details matter and made a difference. Great location and beautifully kept farmhouse. Loved it.

We had a fantastic 3 generational family holiday at Malthouse Farm. Its an idyllic, sprawling, comfortable home from home, with spaces for everyone to gather together or have a few quiet moments when required. Having 3 ensuites and an additional bathroom was really convenient and appreciated by everyone. The garden is lovely and we enjoyed the hot tub and firepit. Kate met us on arrival, showing us around and giving us loads of tips about the area. She was on hand via whatsapp to answer any queries or sort out any problems. Feedback from our whole family was great, wed love to visit again!

We had a wonderful holiday exploring Norfolk and Malthouse farm was the perfect place to stay, spacious but cosy and very well equipped. Its been a busy time with dear friends and family exploring the many beautiful beaches, villages and the surrounding countryside. We loved the Aga and shared lovey meals around the table. We bought fabulous fish from Gurneys in Burnham Market awesome! The enclosed garden was a great with the dog and the hot tub was a bonus especially after walking miles on those gorgeous beaches. The owner was most welcoming and friendly and the welcome pack most generous. Thank you Geraldine

We had a fantastic stay , the property was very well equipped and clean and the hot tub was great The West Norfolk pub , food and service very good and only 10 min walk . Katie was on hand but not intrusive , hamper was much appreciated and we would love to return

We had a wonderful stay at malthouse. The house is lovely and Katie was very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely welcome basket full of lovely goodies. We found the house very comfortable and had everything we needed. Hot tub was great too after a day of exploring. We particularly enjoyed walking along the beach to Hunstanton and eating out at west Norfolk pub as was lovely food and dog friendly.

We stayed at Malthouse Farm over Christmas and have to say we were blown away. The house was beautiful, and so well appointed. We were able to cook and serve up Christmas dinner for seven without a hitch. The rooms were comfortable, the fires a delight, the aga kept the kitchen nice and toasty. Minutes away from the beach and the pub plus a safe garden for children and dogs. We had a really fabulous few days away. A total delight.

Absolutely amazing house. Host was sooooo lovely, Katie Everything you could of wished for. Definitely recommend. It's a dream house.... Everything perfect, can't fault anything. Very warm and cosy and all good quality things. Perfect is an understatement. Katie met us at the house and gave us some recommendations on where to eat etc. Stunning location too. Lots of pubs in walking distance...like I said, beautiful

We spent a lovely week at the Malthouse celebrating my wifes 60th birthday. The property had everything we needed and was a great base for exploring the Norfolk coast. Sympathetically decorated and equipped, we felt truly at home in this gorgeous farmhouse. Host Katie was lovely and responded quickly to any questions we had and had left a generous welcome pack. We even made use of the hottub even though the temp was 2 deg outside.

Malthouse Farm was the perfect retreat for a weekend stay with two families and teenagers, with enough space and bathrooms for everyone. Katie was a superb host and very responsive to any queries or issues we had, which were sorted out immediately. She also left the most wonderful welcome pack, which was very much appreciated by all ages! We will definitely be returning to Malthouse in the future. Thanks Katie!

Katie was a fantastic host. She was in constant communication from the point of booking to our departure. The house was immaculate and felt like we were the first guests in the house. Everything was very well thought out from the hot tub being prepared to the kitchen being ready. There was ample amount of wood for the fire pit so make sure you bring loads of marshmallows! We visited with 7 adults and 2 kids aged 3 and 2. The kids were well catered for with a travel cot made available to a stair guard being in place at the bottom of the stairs. I couldnt recommend this house anymore with no real drawbacks.

Had a great stay with extended family, house was wonderful, the Kids had lots of fun, very close to the beach. Communication with the owner Katie was very easy and nothing was too much trouble. We are quite a boisterous bunch so hopefully we didnt cause too much noise. We would 100 recommend this property.

We had a fantastic week at Malthouse Farm. Katie and Kevin were fantastic hosts and had thought of absolutely everything to make our stay special, nothing was too much trouble. An extensive welcome pack was provided with lovely personal touches. The house is perfect for families and pets as the garden is large and enclosed and there are so many reception rooms for large groups to spread out and relax. We particularly enjoyed days out to Holkham Beach, Sandringham, WellsNextTheSea and had a lovely meal at The Orange Tree. Wouldnt hesitate to return. 1010

From toasting marshmallows on the firepit to relaxing in the hot tub Malthouse Farm is just the most perfect place for a holiday. We stayed here in the first week of August and were blessed with brilliant sunshine every day. The house is beautifully furnished and is decorated with lovely subtle colours throughout. It has a French vibe both inside and out, in fact whilst eating croissants for breakfast in the beautiful garden with clear blue skies above and the scent of lavender all around you could be forgiven for thinking you were in Provence. Malthouse Farm has been thoughtfully furnished with comfy beds, beautiful bedlinen, two wonderful cosy lounges with books and games to play during the long evenings and baskets of logs for the open fires. The utility room has a massive fridgefreezer and there is a pantry to store all your groceries, the large kitchendiner is extremely well equipped with everything that you could possibly need plus a lovely Aga which wraps you in warmth and dries off swimwear in no time at all! We are a family of nine, grandparents, parents and grandchildren and from the lavender fields to the sea the area has something for all ages and everything is within a very short drive or within walking distance. We strolled to the beach at Heacham within minutes and although a little stony, large stretches of sandy shoreline can be found just a short drive from the house at Holme, Thornham and Brancaster. We took a trip on the Wash Monster at Hunstanton to see the seals and we visited the Sandringham Flower Show, sadly the King was not in attendance but Sandringham House and its lovely grounds are well worth a visit at any time of year. We just loved our holiday and would return in a heatbeat. Thank you Katie for your amazing welcome pack and for all your kindnesses whilst we were there ensuring that we had the most perfect time. The house is beautiful in summer but we suspect that it would be equally as gorgeous in winter for long wrapped up walks on the beach and cosy nights spent around the open fires. We will definitely be back! Thank you too to Sykes for your excellent admin in order to facilitate our very last minute break. What a brilliant choice, we cannot recommend this wonderful holiday home highly enough.
