Hawthorn Escape is a historic toll house from 1762 in rural Lincolnshire, just 12.5 miles northwest of Lincoln. This secluded country retreat sits on a quiet lane where wildlife and footpaths replace traffic and noise. Perfect for those who want to escape the rat race without driving to the back of beyond.

The surroundings are proper countryside - not that fake countryside with a motorway humming nearby. Wildlife ponds with actual wildlife. Fields that grow crops not housing estates.
