Lovely big rooms in this cottage. Well equipped, great hot tub. Modern shower room, comfortable large bedroom. Internet is good but TVs need to be used in analogue form (using guide) as pictures will freeze. Nice enclosed patio and lawned garden, dogs can roam safely. Riverside and farm walks. Kitchen is large, but oven is difficult to use. Instructions have been well read, so others have struggled too. In all we enjoyed our stay, as it is very peaceful on the farm. Fishing is advertised, but only one 'peg' gives access to the river which is only about 40 meters from the Cottage. Banks are steep so pegs would need to be made. Village has two pubs, Chinese takeaway, and a chip shop. Local store is well stocked. Good bus services and a train station. Skegness is only about 6 miles away. I would recommend a holiday stay at this cottage.

On arrival River Cottage was found to be clean and tidy, the bed in particular was very comfortable, the hot tub was tended every morning by the site manager Mr Allenby who checked the tub's water for cleanliness, later after leaving the cottage and arriving home an item was found to have been left behind Mr Allenby went above and beyond in finding the item and posting first class to myself, Thank you.

A wonderful cottage with lovely views, great local amenities and Skegness only a short drive away. Would recommend staying here to everyone. Will definitely go again, thanks yet again to cottages.com.
